Should You Move to Miami or Fort Lauderdale?

Miami is one of the most vibrant cities in the United States. Miami Beach is full of music, art, incredible restaurants, and all kinds of people.

Glamour and culture are on full display wherever you go in Miami. Beautiful beaches, renowned restaurants, abundant parties, and a lively dance culture are all major draws to Miami for many.

The Gateway to Latin America

Additionally, Miami is the single most important gateway for trade between Latin America and the United States.

This means there is abundant opportunity for high-income work in Miami, especially if you are bilingual.

While these are some reasons many people desire to live in Miami, it is important to also acknowledge the negatives.

The Drawbacks of Miami Living

Miami has the 50th highest murder rate of all cities in the USA, the cost of living is very high, and traffic can be terrible.

As the gateway to Latin America, Miami is also made up of 67% Spanish-speakers, which can make it a bit more difficult of a city to live in if you speak only English.
