Social Media is a Silent Killer…

Time wasted is time not spent.

On the surface, everybody knows how important time is.

Time is non-replenishable. It is a furious torrent. An arrow pointing in one direction. An army on the march. Each tick is a moment gone to eternity.

Everybody knows this.

Yet so many casually let time drift into the abyss.

Social media addiction eats away at your life. Each minute spent scrolling is a minute that will never come back. Instead of hobbies or meaningful living, billions sink hours into a torrent of posts they will soon forget. Like drugs, you feel like you are getting near that high as you scroll, but you never feel fully satisfied.

Time wasted will capitulate your mind.

When your thumb taps that screen, you are signing a contract with the devil. You are surrendering your goals, your dreams, and the talents you could develop.

This metaphor may seem like a stretch.

However, the consequences are real.

You will wake up years from now wondering what happened to your dreams.

That business you wanted to start.

That relationship you wanted to survive.

That instrument you never practiced.

Those times you never had.

Except you did.

And you chose to waste them away in indifference.
