There are only a handful of skills that separate success from failure.

These skills allow you to engage in life and business with intelligence, poise, and virtue. Learning them at a younger age gives you more time to refine these skills and allow the compound effect to increase their benefits. While it is never too late to learn something new, these skills are especially valuable for helping young people stand out and thrive in their work.

While many skills can add value to your life and business, these 5 are among the most practical and applicable to making more money, living a better life, and creating opportunity:

  • How to read and interpret financial statements: Income Statement (Profit & Loss), Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement.
